TOMMY CHOOSES FIRESUIT INSTEAD

OF BUNNY SUIT FOR EASTER WEKEND

The Moose and the Midwest Cooling Towers Pro-Late Models have the weekend off as the Miller Lite Super Late Model Series comes to Mobile International Speedway, opening the door for the Super Stock division’s first appearance of the 2009 season at MIS. With the Moose in hibernation for the weekend, that opens a seat for Tommy to make a rare start at the Speedway. “They told me I could drive or put on the Bunny suit and give out candy. Originally I opted for the Bunny suit but it was too small. I think this is our 10th consecutive year of sponsoring the candy for the kids at the track and it’s always a fun time. I appreciate Ida letting us be part of the Easter weekend. We tested Thursday night and I thought we had a pretty good car until some of the young guys took the track. They were so fast they hurt my feelings. I’m going to use the new tire as an excuse as to why we’re so slow, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.”  Mobile International Speedway will host round 1 of the Miller Lite Super Late Model Series Saturday night with Super Stocks, Bob’s Speed Shop Sportsman and Alabama Pipe & Supply Bombers all in action.
